88 Jeep Cherokee Humm V Style I Have To Possibly Get Transmission Work Done On My 88 Jeep Cherokee, Any Idea What That Might Cost?

I have to possibly get transmission work done on my 88 jeep cherokee, any idea what that might cost? - 88 jeep cherokee humm v style

It is a 6-cylinder 4LTR, Automatic, 4x4, ... It revs much when you press the accelerator, but it does not go as fast as 25 mph also received volt battery is in the red.

  1. Get it diagnosed, but the value of the jeep, which is probably not worth the cost of repairs, sorry. You better replace the Jeep. If you have ordered $ 1500 to repair the tranny, then the address or the engine will be next. Called to leave and go cheap.

    Get a professional look, but could be something simple.

  6. Take it to a store and check the charging system first. There are many sensors on the trans that has the power to function properly. If after the events to see if it would do to change a tranny filter and fluid may correct and the remaining problems.

  7. It seems that the transmission is shot, the disc has been done and miss you. It could be the torque converter also. If you are in good shape Tansmission you find a used or a torque converter, and someone has to set in. The problem voltmeter, could be a bad alternator, battery connection, or very defective battery, these things seem to be acting only d once it cools, because the Use of cleaners, heaters, etc. all the time. If you want to bring, to check on a workshop to Probem and go from there!
    May it be worth it though for the year 1988!
